Welcome to Scribido Magazine!

Hey Guys,

First things first, Thank you all for the overwhelming  response to the trial issue, emails and comments are still pouring in! Im in love with the small ting sound announcing the arrival of yet another email. It feels good to know that our work is being noticed. One of our readers quoted  Ronald Osborn in his email to us- “Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow”. This precisely has been the ideology of this youth organization. Raising the bar,at every step.

Scribido Magazine has come a long way since the trial launch. We now boast of having 74 members in this organization. Dedicated technical, management, content and marketing teams have been working tirelessly day and night for the past 20 days. I am humbled with the amount of support shown to this Magazine by our volunteers, mind you, everything here is strictly voluntary! It is because of their efforts that you can read this magazine today. Last week we started a ‘Campus Ambassadors’ campaign to scout talent in Colleges across India. It comes as no surprise to me, that in hardly a week’s time Scribido Magazine has Campus Ambassadors in 9 cities spread across 27 colleges! Every other Indian I see today has ambitions and big dreams. Their passion needs to be rightly channelized.

Today our dear motherland completes 62 years of being a republic. Our country however still faces serious problems like malnourishment,poverty,urban-rural divide to name a few!  Its time the youth took things in their own hands. Last decade saw a young man called Barack Hussein Obama take charge of the worlds only Super Power-U.S.A. We don’t want an imposed leader dictating terms to us and representing the youth. The capacity of the youth is much more. Choose your leader! Let us work together and realize Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s dream of India 2020.We pledge today with you the reader as the witness, that Scribido Magazine will always stand ‘independent’. Unbiased, thought provoking articles will be our identity.

No organization has any moral authority to talk about change if its not taking steps in the right direction. Which is why Scribido is also venturing into social work. Small initiatives have already kick-started. An association with a  youth run NGO involved in educating young kids deprived of school education,is one of the first few steps in this sector. A spark has been lit through this initiative, I appeal to all of you to join us and help take these small steps towards change.

Todays issue is a perfect mixture of fun and ‘responsible’ articles. From a latest ‘sale report’ to a French cuisine encyclopedia, from ‘the guy thing’ to ‘girl stereotypes’. Read Sakhi Nitin-Anita’s take on ‘Gap Year’s’ and find out why the UNSC seat is a losing bargain for India in ‘The Mindful Indian’. We have something for everyone @ Scribido Magazine. Have fun exploring the website and don’t forget to write to us! Feels good to be loved! :)
