[box_light]This is a very easy recepie of a simple multipurpose white sauce.[/box_light]
[box_dark]Ingredients[/box_dark]
3 tablespoons- Oil
1 spoon- Butter
1 cup- Flour (Maida)
2 tablespoons- Italian seasoning
2 cups- Milk
1/2 cup- Cream
2 cups- Cheese (Grated)
1/2 cup- Stock (Vegetable or Chicken)
To taste- Salt
To taste- Pepper
Ganish- Olive oil.

Heat the oil in a pan and add the butter and the Italian seasoning. add the flour and stir till four turns golden brown and immediately, add the milk. Mix the milk with the flour properly to remove any lumps and add the cream and stock. simmer for 2 minutes before adding the cheese, salt and pepper.
Tip: If its too thick, add a bit more milk to make it smooth and creamy. If its to thin, then add some more cheese or a bit of cornflour to thicken it up.
Drizzle some Olive Oil on top and use.

This is a basic white sauce that can be used directly as it is or it can be a base sauce for complex sauces like Alfredo Sauce. We can also use this white sauce in many different recepies like Au-Gratins, Pasta recepies and in various rissotos.
